African Health and Social Development (AHD) is an African led research and implementation partner founded in 2010. We work primarily with United Nations agencies, government ministries, non-governmental organizations, and universities. Our purpose is to turn high quality evidence into practical solutions that strengthen systems, improve services, and deliver better outcomes for people.
We combine field experience with strong analytical capability. Our teams bring together economists, public health specialists, social scientists, environmental scientists, data scientists, and communication experts who understand local realities and regional dynamics.
